Cross Cultural Training (CCT) is training conducted for the international agency groups who have volunteers serving in the country. Before the volunteers (international) are placed in PNG communities, NVS inducts them on the practices, norms, values etc. of the communities they will be serving in. They also have basic language translation and practice in Tok Pisin, since it is a commonly used language throughout PNG. These will greatly enhance their working capabilities through their communication skills with the people they interact with. Thus CCT is the entry point for the inter-agency volunteers; it is a training that prepares the international volunteers for their entry into PNG communities.
